RADOX invests in a factory for radiators in Câmpulung Muscel

Radox Group - Bucharest, one of the leading local suppliers of bathroom radiators and HVAC equipment, estimates an increase of up to 20% in sales in 2014, after a growth of 10% in the first three months of this year compared to the same period in 2013. The turnover achieved by the company during January-March stands at 1.3 million EUR, while in 2013 the group's total sales amounted to 7 million EUR. For the current year, the management of Radox has planned to develop a production unit for radiators, with an area of 1,800 sqm in Câmpulung Muscel (Argeş County) after in 2013 it has produced about 100,000 radiators and imported heating and air conditioning equipment with a value of 4 million EUR. Also in 2014, the company's management aims at setting up an advanced laboratory for the analysis and testing of HVAC equipment range in Bucharest, on Timişoara Boulevard no. 80, inside the available centre of 27,000 sqm. "These investments will increase the company's marketing offer of heating and air conditioning systems, whilst the lab is needed because there is a continuous development of the production of radiators, floor convectors, chimneys and ducts for ventilation", said Cornel Roşu, CEO of Radox. In 2013, the company recorded a very important increase of sales on the segment of floor convectors and ornamental radiators for rooms, such as the design ones for which special materials such as: colored glass, printed, tinted glass, sandblasted, stained glass etc., are used. "If in 2013 we included eight new models in the offer, for 2014 we have prepared the launching of 14 design radiators", said the company's president. Last year, the export activities have also continued and Radox delivered radiators also in USA. "For 2014, we want to continue to grow, to expand the export area for the Radox radiators brand and to double our turnover for heating and air conditioning equipment with higher energy efficiency, targeting a significant increase in sales of equipment delivered directly on the segment of large real estate projects", said Cornel Roşu.
