CONSTRUCTIM contracted the most important projects in Timis

Constructim SA, the construction market leader in Timiş County, is currently undertaking major works in the region, being involved in the expansion and modernization of water supply and drainage in Buziaş and Făget cities, as well as various other projects which have private investors as beneficiaries. The company was the first one registered in the Trade Register of Timiş County which activated in the construction field. Furthermore, the firm was the first one in the region that accessed the segment of private hydropower and wind farms, and accomplished, in 2012, the first photovoltaic park in the Banat region. Last year, the contractor achieved a turnover of 11 million EUR and a profit of 1.16 million RON. For 2014, the management anticipates an increase of 5% -10% of the income. Currently, the company is involved in the expansion project and modernization of water supply and drainage in Făget and Buziaş cities and the works will be completed in 2015. Furthermore, during this summer, the execution of the Regional Competence Development Center for Suppliers from the Automotive Sector (awarded by the public authorities from Timişoara), the consolidation of the Banat Museum building from the County, and the build up of a metal hall in Reşita, for the Spalek German group, specialized in deburring and vibro-finishing of surfaces, will be completed. Another hall that will be accomplished has as beneficiary the Italian manufacturer of components for household and industrial appliances, namely Zoppas Industries. Also, Constructim is in the final stage of negotiations for signing contracts with the French group Plastique Forme. The projects are contracted both through the public procurement system and tenders and through direct negotiation with private investors. Of all the works auctioned in a year by the public auction system, almost 10% are projects won by the company. According to the company's manager, the private construction market is still blocked, requiring companies to focus on public projects, although there are many disadvantages in this situation.
