ALUPROF: Performant solutions for the aluminum curtain walls

Since its establishment in 1997, the company Aluprof Systems, part of the Polish holding Grupa Kety, has focused primarily on providing special profiles (mullions and transoms) for the execution of curtain walls structures, promoting also aluminum systems for joinery and shutters. All the items in the portfolio are designed to achieve the goals related to the principle of energy efficiency, a lot of models being developed in such a manner as to respect the new requirements in terms of sustainability. The company offer includes joinery systems (with and without thermal bridge elements interruption), parts designed to be implemented in the classical, semi-structural and structural curtain walls, and also special products, such as the ones used for the installation of glass pillars. Aluprof also promotes Polish sunscreen technology, modern solutions for interior design or office buildings, garage doors etc. In Romania, the group offers extensive infrastructure services, including electrostatic finishing operations. In recent years, the Polish aluminum supplier managed to win a major share on the local market of profiles used in architectural applications. Thus, in 2013, the representatives of the local subsidiary have submitted a 30% increase in turnover compared to the previous financial year. This is a remarkable achievement considering the decrease of demand in the analyzed segment. In order to quickly adapt to the new conditions of the market, the Aluprof management team decided to allocate significant funding for the adjustment of the logistical capacity. Last year, the storage capacity has been increased by about a third, through opening new storehouses, which ensures better delivery services for the current and potential partners, and in the same time an important reduction of delivery times. Currently, in Romania, Aluprof System develops partnerships with over 250 companies active in the aluminum profiles processing (of which about 30 are thermal insulating joinery producers). On medium and long term, the main objective at the group level is represented by the strengthening of business relationships.
